I am running for Scio Township Trustee because our community deserves leadership that listens, acts with integrity, and puts residents first.
The current Board of Trustees is divided into factions. I am committed to helping bridge that divide and refocus township government on practical, constructive problem-solving.
Values That Shape My Perspective
My views are shaped by a mix of traditions and life experiences. I am socially liberal, influenced by a mother who was a teacher and whose father was a minister.
I am also fiscally conservative, shaped by a father who grew up during the Depression, served in World War II, and built a career in the accounting department at Ford Motor Company.
Independent Leadership for Scio Township
I am a lifelong Democrat, but I have voted for conservative Republican candidates when I believed they were better qualified for the job.
I will bring an independent mind, an outsider’s perspective, and a willingness to work with all sides to achieve effective governance. My only loyalty is to the residents of Scio Township.
