Better Roads for Scio Township
Good roads are essential for the functioning, growth, and well-being of Scio Township. Drivers are not the only ones who depend on safe and reliable transportation infrastructure. Local businesses, fire, police and emergency medical services, school buses, delivery vehicles, and even cyclists and pedestrians all benefit from properly maintained roads. Property values and quality of life benefit from well-maintained streets and roads.
The best approach, both logically and financially, is a proactive one: well-planned maintenance with clearly defined priorities, rather than reacting to problems after they occur. The Township has a role alongside the County and State to properly budget and fund road maintenance.
If elected, Mark will be intimately involved with the Roads Advisory Committee and support ongoing funding for road maintenance.
