for Scio Trustee in the General Election November 3, 2026

Mark D. Altomare

Common Sense Township Governance for ALL Scio Township Residents

Mark is a lifelong Democrat and first-time candidate for any public office. He ran for election in the Primary and lost a close election to a Township political insider. But he believes it was closer than some are making it out to be. He believes every person in our community deserves practical leadership rooted in fairness, inclusion, and responsible stewardship, values shared across our township regardless of political party affiliation.

He is continuing his campaign for Trustee as an Independent to ensure that ALL Scio Township voters have a meaningful choice in the general election, and a candidate willing to address dysfunction on the Board that has existed for years and that remains unresolved and unacknowledged by any other candidate in the race.

He is an independent-minded, strong-willed individual who will bring an outsider’s perspective to governance. His only loyalty is to the residents and staff of Scio Township.

Mark is committed to applying his four pillars for organizational success to work for Scio Township: Personal Integrity. High Standards. Teamwork. Common Sense.
